Lion’s Mane

By E Kraft

glowing softly in the deep ebony abyss

the ballerina with translucent tendrils

pirouette ethereally in enigmatic elegance

water medusa for millions of years

haunting the world with her mystical abilities

proudly beside Titon in brutal battles

without the constraints of conscience

her seductive arms undulate back and forth

beckoning me ever closer, tauntingly

until I too am ensnared in her mane

her thunderbolt grip stuns and stupors

beauty passes through me til the very end
